Hi ,

The Gateway problem has been solved. I needed administrative rights for the desktop.Though the interface displays that the server has been started on the specified port it actually doesnt start unless you have the administrative rights.This can be checked on the command prompt by issuing jserver -list.And also starting the gateway "jserver -i -p port#" will give "access denied" message.

After i got the rights i tried running the gateway and the program worked.Thanks to everyone who tried to help me.
