Ian,

Teradata shops that I'm aware of use the query/sql logging feature sparingly because of the high amount of overhead involved. That includes shops with v2r5.

I have heard this past week that Teradata will soon have a new query/sql logging facility out that will log all Sql with fairly low overhead. It is possible that this may just be a rumor. Has anyone else heard anything about this?
