Hi Jeremy, The first step during a restore (local system) or copy (local or remote system) is that arcmain overwrites (restore) or creates (copy) the dictionary for the database object. This will effectively delete all your data. rows. A slightly different column definition during a copy will not cause any problems since the dictionary entries for that database object will be replaced with the one from tape. One can copy tables from different databases to one new target database. Eg: Regards, Ysbrand Ysbrand Bergman
