Recently ran into an issue with a front-end application that Insert/Select rows from three tables (Merchandise_Class, Dept, & Style)
into another tables. The numeric data results are unpredictable, that is they return numeric data but it's not the numeric data from the
table rows. The application is written in Power Builder Version 5.02, to access V2R5 Teradata Tables, using an ODBC driver version
03.02.00. This use to work on a V2R4 system with an older version of ODBC version 02.xx. The question is does the problem lie in the
version of the ODBC driver compatibility, the Power Builder version, or V2R5 , or some combination of all the above. We are in the process
of installing version 9 of Power Builder and rerunning to see if that will make a difference. Anyone out their had any problems along these
lines. I would like to know. Thanks..
