Hi, We have made use of the Multi-Value Compression within V2R5 and have made some big savings, in both disk space and general performance of queries. As an example, we had a table in V2R4.1, which use single value compression, and we saved 30% disk space. Now it has moved to V2R5, we have managed to same an additional 25% disk space, but have noticed a general performance improvement of around 40%, but I think this had alot to do with the fragmentation of the table as well. I would highly recommend the use of compression, and the additional CPU overhead is negligable, we estimated around 0.5%. Regards Matthew Winter Technical Architect
