Sessions with negative session numbers are usually the TDP sessions from your mainframe. These start -1, -2, -3.
Otherwise, user sessions should have positive session numbers.
You can control whether these sessions are displayed in Teradata Performance Monitor using the checkbox (Show Internal Sessions) on the
Session tab of the options screen.
