Subj:   3.02 Teradata ODBC errors

From:   Arun K Ballari

Hi All,

We are having problems in running the queries when using the "Date()" function in Microsoft Access. We have the following configuration (3.02 Teradata ODBC Driver, Microsoft Access 2000 (9.0.7616 sp-3) Teradata Verion 04.01.01.24 Release V2R.04.01.01.05 ). The following is the error message we are getting:

ODBC--call failed [NCR][ODBC Teradata Driver][Teradata RDBMS] Invaild operation on an ANSI Datetime or Interval value (#-5407)

We have the following settings in our DSN configuration :

SESSION MODE : SystemDefault
DateTime Format : III

This is a significant issue because it means that the current date function cannot be used. Appreciate if anyone has a workaround for this.

Regards,
