The documentation does not speak to compression and timestamps. Does Teradata allow this?

I have tried various stabs at the syntax, but I cannot get it to work.

Yeah, I realize that it's a data quality issue to have one timestamp value be in 28 percent of the rows of my 500 million row table, but until we put the "T" back into ETL at my shop that's what I have to live with.
