Dear all:

I have the situaction that i want to shutdown database , so i enter command in dos command window \\\\\\\'tpareset -x shutdowndb\\\\\\\'. Then i check the status of database with \\\\\\\'pdestate\\\\\\\' command, it always stays in \\\\\\\'stop/stoptasks\\\\\\\' model about 10 hours.

Do somebody had the same expericese?

Please tell me your situaction and and how you solve this problem .That will be great help for me? thanks.

ps:my os platform is windows 2000.my database version is v2r4.
