Hi Friends,

I am a new entrant to the Teradata world. I have a pre installed Teradata RDBMS over here and I was just trying to dig into the architecture.

While going through the manuals I could not find out where we actually install the physical database files. e.g., we have got database files named .dbf for oracle database. Do we have physical files like these for the teradata RDBMS as well...??

If yes, what is their default location and if they are not at the default location, what is the way to find out about their location...??

Any help about the same would be appreciated...
