An interesting twist occurs though when you're trying to use SAMPLE with a select against a view (that has selection criteria in it). We
came across that and haven't found a great (read: any) workaround. What appears to happen is that since your view is already selecting a
recordset, the SAMPLE doesn't work. I wanted to peek into an extremely large table and couldn't with SAMPLE.
If anybody has a workaround, it would be appreciated.
