Hello List, I thought to go to the experts on this rather perplexing problem. I have a view that was created using some fairly complex SQL. I tested the SQL and it works perfectly as straight SQL in both QueryMan (Teradata SQL Assistant) and in BTEQ (Unix, Windows). So, I created the view Revenue_By_Bill_Cycle AS with the tested SQL. When I execute a query against the view, with or without a WHERE clause I get the following error: 3707 Syntax Error, expected something like an 'OR' keyword or ')' or ',' between a string and "'||'". Now I don't have the double bars ANYWHERE in the SQL! The view is created successfully as well. Any ideas? I am running V2R5. Best Regards, Joe Fuller Advanced Teradata Certified Professional
