We use the Oracle Transparent Gateway for Teradata heavily (5000 queries/day) to pull Teradata data into Oracle tables. In order to use the Gateway, you must set up an Oracle DB link pointing to the Gateway address.

Though the Gateway can be used to "copy" Oracle data into Teradata tables, I would not use it for that purpose.
