We have experienced problems with users loading lots of data from MS Access to Teradata via ODBC. This has been down to ODBC treating every row as a separate insert and Access Log skewing to the point that DBC runs out of space.

We got over this by creating a separate database that is not logged & getting the users to load to this. I know getting the users to use PC FastLoad is a solution but ODBC is a lot easier to explain.
