Being able to collect stats on all columns of a table is generally true. However, there is a limit of 512 on the number of columns you
may collect statistics on in one pass in V2R5. The limit used to be 40. So whether or not you could collects stats on all columns of a
table will depend on the number of columns in that table.
If you were to recollect stats on a table whose original statistics were collected at multiple different times, and the total number of
columns with statistics ended up being greater than 512, the recollect on that table would fail.
The syntax doesn't change, the only thing that changes is the upper limit of columns and indexes you can specify.
