Hi, how about SHOWBLOCKS /m from ferret? The output will list all the subtables for every table. Just look for the tables which don't have a subtable other than 0 (the table header). Populated tables will have at least a 1024 (primary data) table. start ferret from DBW in the ferret window type output over /tmp/showblocks Showblocks may take 10+ minutes to run. You can tail /tmp/showblocks to check on the progress. The tables are displayed in table id order The output will go to the node with VPROC 0 on it. The output commands are internal to Ferret and filer for redirecting its output to a file. In addition, I wrote a PERL script to parse the output of the showblocks and display just the names of the empty tables (ignoring the Teradata System tables) if that would be helpful.
