Folks, One of our users tried to stop a query (from queryman) that was executing a series of delete/insert statements. Although, they pressed the stop button like a few seconds after they kicked off the query, they query session would not disconnect even after two days. When I tried to forcefully kill the session from the utility xgtwglobal by issuing select host xx I recieved a message that says, "Session xxxxx has been scheduled to be killed" I went to the utility "QRYSESSN" and display the details of that particular session. It had a message "QUIESCED ABORT WITH LOGOFF" Does anybody know what this message means? Why am I not able to kill the session? Will this session automatically get killed after a period of time or is there a way to forcefully disconnect the session? Thanks in Advance Bhupesh Singu
