My past experience with Veritas - over rated, very expensive in terms of licenses and support is ok. For Windows based systems, there
are better alternatives. For Unix systems, I heard that Veritas is much better as long as you buy their Veritas File System product for
Unix. I think you can buy their package product called Veritas Foundation Suite which combines FILE SYSTEM and VOLUME MANAGER. Excellent
product, but very expensive !
In summary,
Veritas Net Backup 4.5 - expensive and support is ok. In general, a centralized back-up solution is complex, expensive to implement and
have high operation costs. Veritas is a very expensive solution, unfortunately, all other back up software I have seen has their own
problems too.

Andrew
