Hi I notice from the manuals that if you specify the INDEXES keyword in an archive script, that secondary index subtables are archived on the tape. I assume that this increases the time that the archive will take. However, if you use arcmain without the indexes keyword, to archive data, the indexes are rebuilt anyway when you copy the data back. In that case, why should anyone use the indexes keyword in their archive script? Is recovery quicker if you specify it? Any advice or comments would be welcome. Thanks Frank
