What benefit do you expect from the use of EMC? I have not seen any so far...also I do have a hard time trying to convey that EMC SAN
may be great for certain applications, for TD it is a waste of time and money. Occasionally people have to step back and accept the fact
that really not everything should be treated the same while disregarding the big picture. Personally I do see a very few benefits of EMC
SAN being usable for Teradata in its current state (awaiting the flames on this statement ;>) )
I would really try to look at what you want to achieve by using EMC and how this fits into the overall picture, price, techn.
architecture, operations etc.
