Question I would have is: when are some additional native data types due? A BigInt comes to mind, but I can also see a need to store and
manipulate 12/16 byte integers and quad floats - think IPv6 and/or security tickets/validation.
It's not always a pleasant situation to describe to a client that you have to re-architect the context of a big number, or triple the
storage with a char field - and still not be able to manipulate those numbers in the data store.
