Hi Ian, 1. yes, the pm/api interface is available from any client platform which supports the Teradata CLI (certainly a Unix platform). 2. as far as I'm aware, there is no documented way of getting any meaningfull priority scheduler information. The only application that I know of which can get this info is Teradata Manager. Basically, the api is not published. 3. Yes, Td Mgr can run in a three-tire client/server mode. The server component requires Windows/NT/2000 or probably XP (not sure about XP). If you need more help on programming PM/API calls, contact me off-list as I've done a lot of work in this area.
