If you want real time CPU values I suggest you look at the Teradata Performance Monitor Object. This is a COM object that 'wraps' the PM/API ... which is difficult to use directly. If you have Teradata Manager then you have the COM object. You will also have 3 sample applications (in the \samples sub directory of the installation) written in Visual Basic, Visual C++, and Excel. These sample apps show you how to retreive and display the session data, but you can add resource data with only a few lines of code. I suggest you get a copy of the White Paper (soon to be renamed as an Orange Book) called "Developing Performance Monitoring and Alerting Applications for Teradata". This takes you through the steps required, and works in conjuction with the sample apps. Mike Dempsey
