Greetings

I have produced an ASCII text flat file using the FastExport utility. The flat file will be used to import records into another RDBMS.

Everything looks fine with the file, except for a "control" character in the first position of each record. While this is not a show stopper,

I would prefer having "clean" ASCII records to simplify the subsequent import operation.

I wrote a Perl script to remove the characters from the first position. Is there a way to have FastExport NOT put these "control" characters in the first position of each record? My MODE here is RECORD and my FORMAT is TEXT.
