Just remember not to confuse Keys with Indices - one's logical, one's physical (apples & teddy bears). If your LOGICAL model
requires a surrogate KEY, use it. If your LOGICAL model can use a natural KEY, that's better.
As Jim Judge pointed out, the choice of a PRIMARY INDEX is a major performance consideration, but in theory it has NO relation to the
KEY.
