Bill: Yes. It is observed with many other Teradata Manager tools as well. The knowledge base article on the Install shield site suggests that the problem may occur if some file is corrupted, Windows installer tries to repair it (reinstall it) when the product is invoked/ running. The Event Viewer on the user's system may be checked to find out which particular file failed to initialize.
