Thanks to all for giving valuable information How to create table with Skew factor zero? Actually we want to load 25 millions of recrds into teradata.. there were some duplicate rows also.. what we are doing is, load all records into multiset table using mload then from multi set table we are separating duplicate rows.... Actually the table which we are loading has one primary index(say colum1) Actually we need to seperate dupliate rows based on column1 if we create table with colums1 as primary index, we are not getting skew factor zero. what we are doing is for getting skew factor zero, we are creating table with multiple primary index. then after loading into table, we are seperating duplicate rows based on colunm1. Similar thing we want to try with fast load, and want to see how much time it will take... with fastload we can't load duplicate rows... if we create table with actual primary index column1, fast load will ignore duplicate rows.. but we are not getting zero skew factor? does anybody know, how to create table with skew factor zero with out changing the actual primary index? Thanks
