If you could physically separate cliques and half of the bynet switches to be in different computer centres then you would have the potential to make the tables in fall back resilient to the loss of a computer centre. This presents some engineering challenges.

I do know of one customer considering splitting their system and placing the two halves in different areas of the computer room. The separation is limited by the maximum length of a bynet cable. They will also have to consider what to do with the bynet switches.
