fwiw attached is a .gif (3.4KB) with results of Fastload acquisition phase throughput v sessions runs on a 4 node 5350 with 40
AMPs. This was a simple fdl with 'unformat' input consisting of 1 integer column and a 500 byte varchar that came from a data generating
access module (similar to inmod). (This is similar to the test scenario used by the CPR). Your mileage may vary but in general I think
similar tests at any of your sites would show a similar curve unless another bottleneck such as input speed, network bandwidth, or workload
contention imposed a lower ceiling. I think many loads are running with a session count well beyond where the curve flattens.
