The syntax is incorrect for most versions of Teradata. ODBC rewrites this into the correct syntax for you (Queryman uses ODBC).

Try doing it this way in BTEQ

CREATE INDEX (empname,empdesc) ON testdb.employee;

	<Prev	Next>		<<First	<Prev	Next>	Last>>
