Subj:		Collect statistics necessary on tables with a unique primary index

hy,

we currently run teradata release v2r04.01.02.08 version 04.01.02.21. can anyone of you tell me if it is REALLY necessary to collect statistics on a unique primary index? and how does it look like if it is a combined unique primary index (e.g. cust_id, order_date).
