Subj:   Re: More Info on the V2R% to V2R5 copy problem.

From:   Claybourne L. Barrineau

All,

The best place to find information regarding V2R5 issues can be found at Teradata's website (assuming you have the proper access rights, go to 'www.my.ncr.com', then go to the 'Discrepancy Report (DR) Query Page.'

Once there, choose option 2: 'View DR Status by selection criteria.'

I've found that the 'Release Option' search is non-usable since most release numbers have been entered improperly (ie., V2R.5.0.1, V2M5., etc.) If you are looking for issues specific to V2R5, then try looking for incidents opened since December of 2002 and look at the 'Found_In_Rel' column to verify the release. To shorten this list, you can filter the DRs to just P1 (highest priority) DRs.

These DR descriptions are short, so, if need be, I'd recommend that you contact your company's Teradata Representative in order to get more information for those DRs which are of interest.

Hope this helps,

Clay
