We currently have an issue using OLE load pulling data from Sybase to Teradata. On a few occasions the Sybase database went down during an OLE load process. However, the OLE load continued running, and the Teradata table continued receiving the same row of data. This cycle continued until the Teradata database finally ran out of space.

**** 12:36:04 Increase database size and restart FastLoad

The Sybase table contains only 1.2 million rows, but Teradata received nearly 25.8 million before the space issue aborted the job. Does anyone know how OLE load works, and in what way Teradata would be notified of a problem like this, and therefore end with an error code?
