A developer came to me with the following they ran: create table taba (col1,col2,col3,col4,col5....) But a show table shows primary index (col1,col3,col5) I know that it doesn't matter what order the columns are in on the index since they're all in the row hash and teradata probably likes them in the order they're defined in the table (make sense to me) I can't find it documented anywhere, does anyone know where it's documented that teradata will reorder the index to be in the column definition order. Failing that, does someone have a good explanation I can pass on. Thanks, Ruth
