I don't think that this problem regarding machine restarts with COPY operations is limited to V2R5.
I've seen the same problem on V2R4.1 (albeit between source and target Teradata servers running the same release, but different hardware
configurations) when running some image journal archive transfers. Incidentally, the efix for this problem is in patch 30.
However, I'm surprised that it's still present in V2R5 if it's already been identified and resolved under V2R4 (??).
