Subj: | | Programatically executing an Abort Session |
|
From: | | McBride, Michael |
This may be a stupid question, but I have not found away to script an abort session command either from within a windows application
(using CLI) or from unix (ksh) such as using a cnsterm fucntion from within a shell script. If anyone knows how to do this, I would
appreciate the info! It seems obvious that if PMON can execute an abort session by clicking on a button, then it must be using a CLI
function that could be scripted from PERL or some such language as well.
I certainly know how to use the supervisory console to enter an abort session command manually, but I'm trying to script a job to kick
long running queries off the box during our nightly backups....
Any help in this area would be appreciated...
