Hi, Can somebody confirm/clarify something for us? Does a Multiload take a Write lock on a table (the same as an SQL update would take)? We submitted a query with a Read lock on a table which was being multiloaded and it abended (as expected!) saying 'Table being Mloaded'. We submitted similar query, again with Read lock, on a table which was being Updated via SQL, and this query completed. Why? Did 2nd query wait until lock was released, or are the locks for SQL Update and Multiload different? Thanks, Julie.
