1.) How wide are the rows or how many bytes are you loading? According to the define statement it seems to be fairly narrow. Please confirm.

2.) Is the data in the input dataset in Account Id order? When you say that "data is read in random order" this leads me to assume that rows for the same account id are not contiguous. Correct?

3.) Have you checked congestion on the network paths from the source to Teradata? If so, how?

4.) What a you seeing from PMON during the loads? How good or bad is parallel efficiency?

5.) How do you verify hash collisions? Did you find the max and average hashrows per account id?

6.) Let's see the DDL for the target table.
