If your prior MLoad blew-up in apply, left a lock and you haven't resolved the problem with a successful completion, then the odds are that your target table has probably been corrupted. The only real solution at that point is to drop the table and see if your last archive was any good, restart the MLoad that didn't finish (I assume that you were doing it for a reason) and then start getting your excuses ready.

You might get lucky a few times, but then again, I know people who have lottery tickets as part of their retirement planning. Hmmm - if they get any win, then their planning was a lot better than those who bought Enron.
