| So, ok, this was a dumb question. What I MEANT to ask (how's that for weaseling?) was the following. We tried to load BTEQ off of
TTU 6.2 onto Windows XP, and it didn't show up on the list of available selections. But it did with TUF 6.1.1, so we installed that. The
question is: | |
| 1) Is there going to be a BTEQ beyond TUF 6.1.1 that will run on XP? | |
| According to the manuals there's BTEQ for 32-bit XP and 64-bit XP and BTEQWin for 32-bit XP in TTU7.0. | |
| 2) Is running the BTEQ from TUF 6.1.1 when everything else on the XP box is from TTU 6.2 a good idea? I suspect not. | |
| Why not, it only needs a minimum level of CLI, a never one is no problem, remember, is not Microsoft ;-) | |
| Anyway, not that I've got a REAL question, maybe it won't get ignored like the last one deserved to be. | |
I don't work with XP and i always thought, there's a BTEQ for almost _any_ OS. OK, at least Linux and MacOS is missing, but hey,
they're not from MS ;-)
