| I am looking at call-back functionality for the external modem attached to our Administration Workstation. I have seen references to
programming in Linux to work as a call-back utility. Has anyone written a program to call-back from the AWS, or is there a program on the
AWS to perform this task? | |
Hi, Bill,
You've got cu on your AWS (assuming you've still got a UNIX AWS -- I assume there's similar functionality on a Win2K AWS), but keep in
mind that CCL (assuming you're using it, which I bet you are) also uses this phone line.
You might consider using telnet or Perl's wonderful LWP to hit a pager, assuming you can get out through your firewall.
Thanks,
John A
