ok....that is fine..


  If you also use any scheduling software for your jobs, they usually have the ability to send email or paging if a step fails.  


I think perl will provide e-mailing facility.. after reading the mload output, if we found any error code, using perl we can send e-mail or pager notification... am i correct?


  2) Use system command. Example: system "bteq D:/Systemstats/Canary_Select_Out.txt";  


but here similarly if we do mload command like system

"mload err99.txt";


we are getting following error....

The system cannot find the file specified.


but if we run perl script from mload scripts directory... it's working fine... like system "mload err99.txt ";


do u have any idea?
