At first I misunderstood and thought you meant node-level UNIX backups (of which I've done a countable and finite yet large
number), but on second reading, I think you do your Teradata backups to UNIX.
For what it's worth, where I'm at now, we do backups to mainframe, and where I was before, we didn't do backups, so my experience is both
odd and different from yours. Thanks for the data point--it's interesting.
