Craig,
One of TData's strengths is the ability to treat VIEWS as if they are TABLES and there is only an impact on performance where the views
join tables with different indices.I am used to seeing different user-groups given rights to access specific database(s) as this is easier
to manage than specific tables.
Therefore, I recommend you create a database of VIEWS which you want the user(s) to access. An example of use might be where all analysts
may identify staff, id, office etc but not their salaries and home details. The latter would only be available on VIEWS in a database
accessible by staff in HR.
