Technically, there should be no problem leaving users logged on (except with the ACCESSLOG table as mentioned in other emails). However,
the biggest problem I see with that is security.
If a user has a session actively (Queryman or other) connected to Teradata, and forgets to lock the terminal at the end of the day, it
can be misused. That is my biggest concern with leaving users logged on for days...
