I don't know much about operating systems, but I understand that Linux and DEC Tru64 Unix both have 64-bit support. Also, has anyone considered AIX? (I hear cries of anguish already.) Version 5.0 (announced 2000-10-17) includes a 64-bit kernel and support for 1TB files.
