Hi Rita:

Without digging into it in greater detail, the following is apparent:

This is not a Trigger, this is a stored procedure due to:

1. more than one triggered type of SQL statement

2. IF / END IF

3. substitute variables using the colon prior to the name.

4. SELECT - INTO command
