I would like to hear from experienced Teradata DBAs as to how they deal with the inevitable database corruption problems. By way of explanation I am a lead architect for a large fortune 500 company. The Teradata sales guy tells me that Teradata database corruption "is not a problem". Get real! Our systems are mission critical and if I am forced to use Teradata I need a coping strategy, not sales hype. Having an operational database out of service for hours is unimaginable here. So I need a few examples of real situations, within recent history, that gives us something to work with. Thanks in advance, Signed, Architect Under Sales Pressure
