SUN 8 to overcome the UNIX limitation. Looks like there's a tool limit as well. | |

On the mainframe, that is definitely true, at least for files on tape. The only limit is the number of tapes you can allocate.

There is a product called TeraFile from Programmed Logic that is designed to allow files > 2GB on 32-bit UNIX. I don't know whether it
works with MP-RAS, though.
