I've not seen much mentioned in data volume size here... The disadvantages to one large table, that I have seen, is that when something
is screwed up for one company or segment... everyone is out of business... as the data grows the amount of time it takes to back up that
table grows and the restore time as well... how big a window do you have for backup/recovery and/or disaster recovery... I have some tables
it takes 8+ hours to backup just one table... The restore time is 16-22 hours... can you afford to be down that long....?
